Simply Martin

I once read a book,
but somehow i got stuck.
On the same page,
over and over again.
Reading those words,
trying to understand.
Just how it feels,
how it feels to be you.

So i put on my shoe,
went out looking for
the answer.
Was it all true?
Was it ever me and you?

Cluless i stand,
still reading that page.
Over and over again.
Thinking of how it was,
before all of this.

Will i ever be your man?
Or was i just another piece
of your game?

Enless thoughts, over and over
i keep on reading the same page.
Over and over,
i keep thinking about you.

Here today, gone tomorrow.
